Rules

  1. Team size: 3–4 members per team.
  2. Eligibility: Open to currently enrolled undergraduate students from participating universities.
  3. Original work: All code and content must be written during the hackathon. You may use open-source libraries, public APIs, and pre-trained models, but the core project must be built at the event.
  4. AI tools: Use of Claude and other AI tools is encouraged — but you must be able to explain your project and technical decisions.
  5. Anthropic API: Teams are encouraged to use the Anthropic API. Free API credits will be available to all participants.
  6. Submissions: Projects must be submitted via Devpost before the deadline to be eligible for judging.
  7. Judging: Projects will be evaluated on Impact Potential, Technical Execution, and Ethical Alignment by a panel of judges. 
  8. Prizes: Winners will be announced by the end of the event. API credit prizes will be distributed via Anthropic. Cash prizes distributed day-of or within 2 weeks of the event.
